The house is beautifully kept and spotless at all times. Location is a stones throw from the city and perfect for weekend stays or week long visits. Thoroughly enjoyed my stay and would stay again and recommend to all friends and family as it was exactly as described. Reid is welcoming, smart, helpful, warm, respectful and interesting.
You'll have great stay at his place! Mel's home is located in vibrant neighbourhood that is close to the city and with public transport nearby. Mel keeps a clean home and the interior has been beautifully decorated. I was woken a few times during the night by street noise and, on one occasion, the resident dog who is very loveable! Staying with Mel, her partner and family pet Harry was easy, comfortable and relaxed. It was like I'd dropped in for an overnight stay with a friend. It was the first time I'd used Airbnb for a work trip. I'd driven up from Canberra so all I wanted was a shower and a cup of tea before calling it a night. After a quick tour, it's a great home, I was left to do my own thing.
The room was light, bright, and airy. The big attraction when looking for somewhere to spend the night. Mel's a professional photographer and her pics have accurately captured the spaces in her lovely renovated period home.
There's no off street parking but on street between 8pm and 8am wasn't a problem. Its a great location on the leafy east side of Redfern. The side I've always liked. Harry barked a little before getting to know me, fair enough, what dog doesn't.
Once acquainted she was fine. Mel was such a warm, welcoming and relaxed host. She provided all the information you need when arriving in a new place. I felt at home straight away, and absolutely loved staying with her and cute Harry. The room and entire place was just as shown in pictures and as I was there for work, it was such a delight to come home to each day.
Location is perfect for getting around, and there are some great coffee shops, bakeries and restaurants close by. I would have actually loved to have stayed longer, but will definitely be back again to stay with Mel next time I am in Sydney. Mel ist eine wirklich tolle Gastgeberin. The parking outside is free after 6pm but just keep in mind that you must leave before 8am, otherwise you'll need to pay for the hourly parking fee. I would definitely recommend this to place to business travellers.

It was clean light and airy and much more spacious than we expected. The facilities in the flat were brilliant and they had thought of everything from shower gel to suncream tea's, coffees and even a mini bottle if bubbly! The roof top pool area was amazing. The view was spectacular and we enjoyed relaxed mornings and evenings up there.
The location of the apt was also perfect for us we strolled into the city from there and the bars and restaurants in the area were brilliant too. All round a wonderful experience and I would highly recommend! A great base for exploring the city; we managed to walk to all the main sites within half an hour from the apartment. Darlinghurst is a great neighbourhood and we loved getting to know a district we might not otherwise have explored. There was some great restaurants, coffee shops and everything you could wish for on your doorstep without having to go into the city centre if you didn't want to.

Electronic key needed for access to block and lift so it felt secure. Some road noise but I always use ear plugs when travelling so I slept well in the comfortable bed which had plenty of pillows. With just a 35 min walk to Opera House and the free bus nearby, this is the perfect location for a visit to Sydney.

The apartment itself was plenty big enough for the two of us and was clean and well looked after - its on the top floor of the building and there is a great communal terrace on the roof with views back to the harbour. I would definitely recommend this apartment as a hassle free base to explore the city.

Really enjoyed stayed here. Communications from the host, Andre, were superb. I liked the room I stayed in a lot. Very comfortable bed - I slept better here than at my home - and a decent balcony. This, as well as the bathroom and rest and house were very clean and fully functional. It is a quiet house - perhaps due to the lack of a TV in the lounge - which I saw as a good thing.
Both the bedroom and main door had electronic locks which were very good. Overall, a friendly and well organised experience. A lovely place and super convenient location. Julian and Andre are great hosts for an inner city option, with a beautiful place to offer that is safe and secure with fantastic facilities.
Communication with Andre and Julian was very easy and friendly. Also getting in at arrival was easy, although they weren't at home. I would say the late checkin time is a bit uncomfortable, especially when you arrive after a long ober night flight from overseas. But luckily my room was ready a bit earlier.
You can walk almost everywhere and there are a lot of restaurants and Cafés nearby! The room is beautiful and everything was very clean! In winter in can be a little chilly, because there is no heating and big windows.

Marys Cathedral and Hyde park is just next to it. Train station and bus station are also near. Eveything about the apartment is so detailed and clear to understand. Room is clean and bed is comfy. The public areas are clean, saw them had someone to clean the public areas every day. The hosts are so sweet and nice, reply your msg quickly. Price for staying is good. But for ppl who want to stay in their lovely place pls have to know that if you are a person who loves to talk and laugh loud at night after 10pm, please don't stay here since other floors might have other guests and you might bother other guests.
Please know that it is a shared house and please respect other ppl and the hosts. I was made feel very welcome. Comfortable, clean, private and character-filled cottage in a lovely garden. Our hosts went out of their way to help with transport and other local info.

A very generous and friendly host. This place is a gem in the heart of Sydney! We were Julie and Garry's first airbnb guests and they were incredibly accomodating hosts. The cottage is spacious, clean and homely. We'd have given it 6 stars for value if we were allowed. It's located right in the heart of Melbourne with so many of Melbourne's tourist sights within walking distance or a free tram ride away. Unexpected delights were the breakfast laid out for us each day I can see it in the listing now that I know to lookthe welcome from Chai her dog after each day out and Bronwyn's advice on things on and places to eat even though we already knew our way round Melbourne well.
We had the most wonderful stay in Melbourne, Brownyn was such an amazing host. She helped us with every part of our trip, from booking a taxi, a nice trip to the Great ocean road, to finding great places restaurants, cafes, exhibitions in the city.
The apartment is a piece of beauty, well-situated in the CBD, close to everything with a very stylish industrial design. Our bedroom was perfect, really wide and we had our own bathroom which makes such a difference. We had the opportunity to cook our lunch or dinner in the nice kitchen. During our stay we felt we have made a new friend. Our bedroom in the converted warehouse is spacious, comfortable and tastefully furnished. We were provided with our own bathroom with a large shower cubicle. If we ever visited Melbourne again we would not consider staying anywhere else. This apartment is so spacious, it's vast and full of lovely things. Everything is luxury good quality from organic milk and yogurt to smellies in the bathroom.
Amazing collection of books and magazines. In the bedroom there were some great info, books, leaflets and a whole set of different walking tours. We didn't need to step foot into the info centre! Bronwyn is so freindly and we felt really welcome. It is in a perfect position 2 minutes walk from Federation Suare and right in the Lanes. There is a Lanes walk which is really good. Loads of places to eat nearby and shops too for food and drink. We loved Melbourne and did lots of things.
Free tram tour round the city centre, art galleries, moving image museum and a tour round the MCC and sports museum. All in easy reach from the apartment. We didn't spend any money on transport as we were so well located. We would love to go back to Melbourne and if we do we will certainly stay with lovely Bronwyn again.
The location was perfect for us. Many of our "must see" attractions were in walking distance. Public transportation was close by. It is an escape from all that is at your door. One of the best places I've stayed in for a long time. Chris met me at the place. Was very clean, excellent location and great value. We stayed there for some night and everything was perfect. Clean, ready and comfy! With a great view, enough space for 4. This is a super place to stay for a business trip. Our family just stayed in Justine and Frank's Airbnb for a week in Melbourne and couldn't have made a better choice for our accommodation. The apartment was just as they described, if not better.
It was Super clean, comfortable and tastefully decorated. The amenities and kitchen fittings were perfect as we were travelling with our 9 month old baby and prepared several meals for him in the apartment. The apartment was very baby friendly too - Top class baby facilities were available for our use baby Bjorn travel cot and Stokke high chair. We knew about this beforehand and hence saved us the trouble of packing a travel cot from home.
The location of the apartment was very convenient and provided easy access to all the main attractions. We rented a car and were very pleased when we found that the parking lot which comes with the apartment rental was situated right in front of the lift lobby of the building.

The Studio room has access to a number of ammenities including its own balcony, shower and bath, walk in robe and kitchen space. The balcony is great for outdoor dining, especially on those nice Australian sunny days. What makes this space unique is its customised modern design with the greenery of the balcony.
As this was a family built home, we have gone through every detail and design to get it right and make it look amazing. That includes all the classy finishes like marble floors, in ground bathtub, large windows and sliding doors for natural lighting and warmth.
